Abstract

Abstract

Introduction: Polyorchidism is defined as the presence of more than two testes and it is a rare congenital

abnormality. Less than 100 cases were reported in the literature. We report the case of 21 year-old man

presented with inguinal pain and right scrotal mass approximately 1 cm in diameter close proximal to right

testis. Scrotal sonographic examination revealed that the mass had same echogenicity with the testis and this

situation was suggested as polyorchidism. Histological examination of the removed mass confirmed the tissue

as testicular tissue. There were no dysplastic and metaplastic changes.
